Preparing for International Forum on Elite Sport

Our Center will participate one more year in the International Forum on Elite Sport , the biennial meeting of the Association of Sport Performance Centers (ASPC), which this 2017 reaches its tenth edition. The Forum will take place from 23 to 26 August in the South African city of Durban. The representatives of the CAR at the meeting will be Sílvia Matesanz, who has the Host Secretariat of the ASPC, and Pep Escoda, who is the Secretary General. Both are preparing the participation of the CAR for the Forum.

This year, apart from the CAR, the FC Barcelona, represented by Francesc Cos, will take part in the Forum.

The CAR was a founding member of the ASPC, and had hosted the second edition of the Forum, in 2001, the year in which the Association began to form.
