Gold medal in modern pentathlon for Chloe Esposito

The australian athlete, Chloe Esposito, was the winner of the gold medal in modern pentathlon at the Olympics in Rio. The pentathlete was concentrated in the High Performance Centre in Sant Cugat del Vallès for almost a year in the beginning of the Olympic cycle, to train with the group reponsable pentathlon at this moment, Endre Kováts.

In relation to this sport, this August some athletes of the Center have achived noteworthy results: Laura Heredia, this past weekend was proclaimed champion of Europe sub-17 and early August was also eighth in the European Under-19. As for the boys, Cristian Chamizo was seventh at the European Under-19.

From 13 to 17 September will be held in Cairo the World Junior Championship in modern pentathlon, with the participation of athletes from the CAR, Joan Gispert and Luis Shivel, they are going to compete in the male relieve and in the individual event.
