Danish swimmers, at CAR for the fourth consecutive year
The swimming club Sigma group, comprising almost forty Danes, is concentrated in the CAR until tomorrow. The team, which consists of junior and senior swimmers, usually come once or twice a year at the Centre to have training and physical preparation.
Athletes came from Denmark two weeks ago and during their holidays fall they will stay and train at the Centre with coach Carles Subirana.
Sigma is one of the most prominent swim clubs in Denmark, and since 2013 they have one or two trainning camps at CAR Sant Cugat: That was the year they signed Carles Subirana as head coach Carles Subirana, who years ago was technical director of the Royal Spanish Swimming Federation, and trainer at the Centre.
More and more international groups, both clubs and federations, performing placements, both promptly and regularly to the CAR Sant Cugat, attracted by the facilities and services, as Ishi climate and proximity to Barcelona. These groups, in addition to revenues assumed by the Centre, foster an exchange of coneixment beneficial not only to those who sell, but also for the sports groups of the CAR.
