The Catalan table tennis player Galia Dvorak announced her retirement from the Spanish table tennis team, after having played four Olympic Games (Beijing, London, Rio and Tokyo), as well as several World Championships, Europeans and Mediterranean Games, over more than twenty years.

The Mataró native has been linked to the CAR for seventeen seasons, and is currently director of operations for special projects at the European Taula Tennis Union.
