What do I have to do to come and train in the CAR? How do I enter the CAR?

In order to enter the CAR permanently, athletes must be affiliated, receive a grant from the corresponding federation or institution which has the training group at their disposal in the CAR.  The CAR does not grant them.  

What do I have to do if I want to visit the CAR?

The number of visits is limited as too many can effect the daily training activities. For those interested , apply in writing , by mail, fax or e-mail to the Public Relations representative, who will contact you and inform you of whether this is possible or not and specify details.

Would you like to interview an athlete, trainer, doctor or professional of the CAR? How can I do this? 

Contact the CAR Press Office and they will inform you if it is possible to interview the person , and if so put you in contact with them.

Is there a minimum age limit to enter the CAR?

The minimum age is fourteen. There have been exceptions but in very few cases.

At which altitude above sea level is the CAR situated?

The CAR is situated in Sant Cugat del Vallès, at sea level. If you are looking for altitude training there is a centre in Sierra Nevada, the CAR of Granada.

Who can study in the CAR High School?

For high school studies (ESO and Bachillerato), access is restricted to athletes who are training in the center. For Formació Profesional and special teaching regime in sports, the access is open for everybody, following the same criteria as a Catalonia High School.

What is sports biomechanics?

Biomechanics is the science that describes and explains the technical sport from the standpoint of mechanical physics. It is also necessary to understand the handling of audiovisual systems and control systemswork with computers at least user level.

When can I find the tutor in the residence?
The night tutor is always at the center from the 19 h to 9 h in the next day, every day of the year. The Day tutor is available on weekdays during center office hours (from 9 h to 14h and from 15 to 17.30 h)
